Bonnie Lautenberg American
Bonnie Lautenberg pairs iconic artworks with stills from Hollywood movies released the same year the artwork was made. Her process is intuitive; by linking the images, whose only commonality is the year they were created, she disrupts the way we experience both the film and the artwork.
Lautenberg's photographs are included in both private and museum collections. Her work, How They Changed Our Lives: Senators As Working People which was exhibited at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City, New Jersey and is now in the Library of Congress in Washington, D. C. where it can be viewed on-line.
