Jaume Plensa

An acclaimed creator of public art, Jaume Plensa produces monumental sculptures in steel, glass, marble, polyester resin, concrete, and bronze. Major Canadian installations include the monumental white Dreaming (2007) at Richmond-Adelaide Centre, Toronto and Source (2017) at Montreal's Bonaventure Gateway.

Predominantly producing figurative sculpture, Plensa has created larger-than-life-sized heads constructed of fine, stainless-steel wire mesh so that their surrounding environments are visible through the works, and bronze figures cast from his own body. “Sculpture is not only talking about volumes,” he has said. “It is talking about something deep inside ourselves that without sculpture we cannot describe. We are always with one foot in normal life and one foot in the most amazing abstraction.”

Frequently asked questions
How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase. Shipping is completed through a registered carrier, such as FedEx. Oversized orders may use a private carrier, however we will reach out to you if that is the case. We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking confirmation. Delivery times vary depending on your location and possible customs clearance delays. If you would like the shipment expedited, contact the editions shop before purchasing to confirm delivery times.

Are items shipped framed?

For the safety of the works in transit, all prints, works on paper, and editions are shipped unframed. Please note that some items may show framed options, however framing is only available through in-person pickup.

What is the return policy?

Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. However items from the Editions Shop are final sale. If you are not happy with your purchase, reach out to the print department.
