Komal Shah Fulfills a Mission to Elevate Women Artists Through a Breathtaking Exhibition

"Filling an entire wall of the four-story brick warehouse that once housed the Dia Center for the Arts in New York is" the  Shah Garg Foundation's debut exhibtion. Miriam Schapiro’s Double Rose, 1978 is featured in Making Their Mark, a major exhibition showcasing the works of more than 80 of the most significant women artists from the last eight decades, on view through January 27, 2024. Curated by Cecilia Alemani, Donald R. Mullen, Jr. Director & Chief Curator of High Line Art and Curator of the 59th International Art Exhibition at the Venice Biennale, the exhibition marks the first public viewing of the Shah Garg Collection: a groundbreaking body of work by women collected by Komal Shah and Gaurav Garg.
