    Donald Baechler

    Untitled (Cast Flowers) , 2006

Baechler's flower forms occupy a space between the faux naïve and careful material construction. Cast by hand, Baechler returned to reoccuring symbols such as flowers throughout his career. Allowing the nuance of subtle distortions in surface and imperfect edges to question the distinction between printmaking, objecthood, and sculpture.

    Anish Kapoor

    Flow, 2019

Renowned for sculptures that are adventures in form and engage public space, Kapoor maneuvers between vastly different scales, across numerous series of work. Best known for his Chicago Millennium Park installation, Cloud Gate, his work situates our inner world into the world around us, turned inside out, its inversions and protrusions summon up deep-felt metaphysical polarities of container and contained, being and non-being, that disrupt our quotidian reality. Executed in 2019, the Flow portfolio consists of four colour etchings, Kapoor translates the spatial and sensory concerns of his large-scale sculptures into the intimate lanuage of print.
